  • How does AGV locate in the environment?

    We have a variety of navigation and positioning methods, such as laser SLAM, laser with reflectors, visual QR code, inertial navigation, etc. We will choose the navigation method according to different application environments and vehicle models.


  • How long can AGV run  with a full charge?

    In general, our AGV can  work for 8 hours on end. However, various AGV’s have different continuous operation hours in full  charger circumstance. Because different AGV has different battery capacity and operating power. We can customize battery capacity based on different requirements of the users.

  • How about the safety of AGV system?

    Our safety system includes two aspects: 1) Protection of AGV body, 2) Real time monitoringProtection of background monitoring. For vehicles, the AGV is installed with a full-scale safety sensor in the direction of movement, which provides distance and contact protection and stops upon detecting obstacles. At the same time, the vehicle-mounted software has a self-check function that can monitor abnormal operating data and provide feedback processing. With the real time monitoring, the operation status of each AGV can be monitored at any time. In case of any abnormality, AGV can be remotely stopped in time.

  • What are the advantages of STAR SYSTEM compared with the KIVA Systems?

    STAR SYSTEM divides the products into fast-selling products and slow-selling products according to the frequency of being picked. The products are picked and selected by two means, i.e. “people to goods” with cart AGV and “goods to people” with picking AGV. Complete the order with combination of the both to achieve the best efficiency. In addition, STAR SYSTEM has a higher picking efficiency in the same area.

  • In addition to the AGV robot, what other auxiliary equipment shall be provided on site?

    In general, the following equipment is needed:

    1. Navigation beacon: QR codes, reflectors, RFID, special graphs, etc. (you can also make full use of the natural environment)

    2. Wireless network: Used for communication between AGV and dispatch management system

    3. Charging station: Autonomous charging for AGV

    4. Computer: Act as a server to install the dispatch management system, used for monitoring or process operation

    5. Shelf: Used for storing goods

    6. Tooling for logistics turnover


  • What is the maximum number of cars that can be dispatched by the dispatch system?

    1,200 vehicles can be dispatched at most.


  • How soon can the AGV logistics automation project be delivered and put into practical use?

    A completed logistics automation project must go through the following processes: demand docking, design and validation of logistics technology scheme, contracting and invoicing, manufacturing, project implementation, acceptance check and delivery.

    In general, the whole process takes a few months. The specific delivery time depends on the joint efforts of the both parties. We can provide the best solution as soon as possible after obtaining clear requirements, and complete the on-site implementation.

  • What about the after-sales service system?

    We have corresponding after-sales service centers on all continents. Each center has a professional operation and maintenance team to ensure quick response to customer inquiry and request.
